MABRASKA is one

located, closed to the vibrant business center of the capital city,
Santo Domingo.
Beaches, rivers, mountains, and other natural attractions are also only minutes

MABRASKA teaches Spanish with a philosophy of personal focus by
adapting a program to your needs. Classes are a combination of intensity
and spontaneity, which familiarizes students with the language structure
so they can communicate with others in the most natural way
|
At first, many years ago, the school
was an English school, and the teachers were English speaking people
who come from all over the world in cultural exchange programs.
these teachers felt motivated to learn more about the language
and culture of the place where they were living, so it was necessary
to hire a qualified group of teachers to teach Spanish to those
teachers, then certain academic rules were established and with
the years some other characteristcs were added according to the needs
of the students .
|
Today MABRASKA
is managed by 2 accredited linguists who work with some young professional teachers
The philosophy of the school can be described as: naatural spontaneous
and efficient learning.
Some of the features of the school that will facilitate a superior
learning experience are:
|
|
|
|
-Schedule flexibility
-No registration deadline
-Accommodation
-Group classes
-One on one class
-Open all year
-Good location
-Good price
-Easy to register
-Very professional
|
|
The staff is composed by two
language specialists who have the grade of voice therapist and pedagogues
Theses two language specialists supervise a group of young professionals
who are native Spanish speakers. They can teach groups or classes one on one |
The Teaching system consists of a combination
of 3 basic elements, Which are fundamental in learning a language
-Pronunciation:
Taught by language therapists focused on the
acoustic side of the language and how it differs from other languages. A good
pronunciation is a good beginning because it prepares students to
progress to other phases of language development |
|
 |
-Grammar:
The practical use of the grammatical elements instead of the usual
focus on long definitions and empty theory, is a guarantee to a
fluent speach.
-Conversation:
Constant practice is essential to achievement. This phase starts from day one at MABRASKA .These 3 elements
conform to the teaching format but not as a rigid profile; the
system itself can be modified depending on the student needs. The program
is also reinforced with a wide range of teaching aids: books,
videos, computer programs etc.
